For Bows On The Go

Meisel Introduces BC-6 and BC-12 Violin Bow Cases

Schools, orchestras and stringed instrument players no longer have to worry about how to transport delicate violin bows to practices and performances.  Meisel Stringed Instruments has introduced two new bow cases – the Meisel BC-6 and Meisel BC-12 – that offer the ideal solution for carrying multiple violin, viola and cello bows safely and conveniently.

Capable of holding six and twelve bows respectively, the BC-6 and BC-12 each feature a plush lined interior with a separate section for each bow. In addition to being securely housed in their own individual compartments, bows are protected against shock damage by a heavily padded lid.

As an added safeguard, the BC-12 model is equipped with a retaining flap that covers frogs and keeps bows stationary during transit. Another security feature on the deluxe BC-12 model is a combination locking system, which ensures that only authorized personnel have access to bows.

“Now orchestra directors and musicians can have the peace of mind of knowing that their bows will be safe from damage when they take them on the road,” said Neil Lilien, president of Meisel Stringed Instruments.  “In addition to protection and security, the BC-6 and BC-12 provide users with the convenience of being able to store and carry multiple bows in one easy-to-transport case.”

Designed to withstand the rigors of travel, the BC-6 and BC-12 are sturdily constructed with heavy-duty handles and other hardware. Both have a durable black vinyl covering that’s attractive and easy to care for.
